Marble Handicraft Supplier In Aligarh

Hand-carved and inlay work by North Indian craftsmen.

Marble handicraft is the oldest part of the Indian stone trade and it is still done almost entirely by hand. A craftsman marks the design onto white marble, chisels out the recess, cuts semi-precious stone to the exact shape of that recess, and sets it flush. The technique is called pietra dura, and Agra, an hour from our works, is where it has been practised without a break since the Mughal period.

We take orders for inlay table tops, temples, murtis, planters and fountains. Because each piece is carved to order, sizes, motifs and stone colours can all be changed. Tell us the dimension you need and roughly the look you want, and we will come back with what is possible.
