A carved stone fountain is built as a set of separate pieces: a base bowl, a central column, one or more tiers, and a finial. Each piece is carved from solid marble or sandstone and the set is assembled on site over a prepared foundation, with the plumbing run up through the hollow column.

We make single-tier, two-tier and three-tier designs, plain or with carved petal, lotus, scallop and floral detail, and with animal or figure spouts where the client wants them. White marble, cream sandstone and red sandstone are all available.

Because a fountain has weight, water and electricity all in one place, we go through the practical side properly at order stage: foundation depth, pump size, water supply, drainage and the power point. Getting that right before delivery saves a great deal of trouble afterwards.
