We do not publish prices, because the right price depends on size, thickness, finish and where it is going. Send us those details and you will get a real quotation, not a range.
Absolute Black is exactly what the name says. Unlike Black Galaxy, it carries no flecks and no veining at all, just an unbroken field of deep black. Geologically it is a fine-grained dolerite, and the fineness of that grain is why the eye reads it as a single flat colour rather than as crystals.
That plainness is its strength. When a design needs a quiet, heavy anchor, an Absolute Black countertop or floor band does the job without competing with anything else in the room. Architects use it as a contrast strip against white marble, and monument makers use it because engraved and etched lettering shows up on it with maximum clarity.
The stone polishes to a genuine mirror. It is also one of the few granites where a honed or leathered finish looks deliberately designed rather than unfinished, because there is no pattern for the matt surface to flatten out.
